Nancy Richer was born and raised in New York City. She developed her method based on the warm ups and cross training she did during her career as a professional ballerina on tour and backstage. She danced with The Royal Danish Ballet, The Suzanne Farrell Ballet, The Los Angeles Ballet, and Twyla Tharp Dance. She works with all ability levels on a variety of goals. Her clients include motivated individuals of all backgrounds and . She believes her body positive approach to ballet training can transform the workouts and lives of all her clients.

Richer Movement approaches training from the perspective of ballerina & certified Pilates instructor Nancy Richer. She has over 15 years of experience dancing professionally. During her career she was always told she didn’t have a “ballet body.” She succeeded, and danced for the third oldest ballet company in the world, The Royal Danish Ballet. As well as Twyla Tharp Dance, The Los Angeles Ballet and The Suzanne Farrell Ballet.
